  Sunlite Pool Fun Facts. Sunlite Pool is open daily from 10am-8pm. See operating schedule for full details. Built in 1925, the Pool measures to be 200 feet wide and 401 feet long. There are over 3 million gallons of water circulating at Sunlite Pool at all times. Sunlite Pool has over an acre of shallow water - perfect for little ones to have fun in the sun! The deep end of the Pool features 6 diving boards and lanes for lap-swimming. Sunlite Pool is home to 4 exciting waterslides: NEW IN 2009! THE TWISTER four chutes standing 45-feet tall and over a quarter mile long! The Pipeline Plunge ride a tube down this 45-foot high totally enclosed slide. The Cyclone a 70-foot long spiral tub slide situated in the deep end of the Pool The in-pool speed slide is a rush of thrills right in the heart of Sunlite Pool You can get great Coney Island souvenirs, swimsuits, pool floats and much more at the Island Shop located on the Pool deck. A wide range of food and beverage selections are available at the Sunlite Pool concession stands including Cincinnati favorites LaRosas Pizza and Skyline Chili COMING IN 2009 THE TWISTER!! A tangle of thrilling turns, exhilarating twists, spectacular splashes and more zooming fun than ever before! We are excited to announce a TWO MILLION DOLLAR investment in new features and park improvements, including the first major addition to Sunlite Pool in over thirty years THE TWISTER! This four-chute megaslide will replace the Zoom Flume. Not only will The Twister change the face of Sunlite Pool, but more importantly, will give our patrons even more entertainment value for your dollar! Coney Island offers an entire lineup of original live stage shows for families to enjoy. They feature talented singers and dancers, dynamic music from yesterday and today, plus a fun-filled kids show! All live shows are performed at Lakeside Pavilion and are featured daily except on Mondays.\n\nAmusement Park, Sunlite Pool, Coasters, Picnics, Food, Beverages, Waterslides, Sunlite Cabanas, bumper cars, ferris wheels, bumper and pedal boats, boating, fun in the sun!   Coney Island is a wonderful park and my family has enjoyed it for the last 50 years. However, if I may make a comment, knowing that Coney Island floods almost every April, why would you schedule an event like Cirque du Soleil in April? …
